Getting a kitchen scale was one of the most helpful things I did at the start of my weight loss journey. It has really helped me to learn proper portions sizes and has made tracking even easier! I use this the most to weigh cheese, two ingredient dough, pasta, nuts, chocolate, and so much more! I use the scale for foods that I would over portion in the past! This is the scale I use!
I use my air fryer daily! It is such a quick and convenient way to cook food while still making it crispy and fresh! I started with a 4 QT (PowerXL), upgraded to a 7 QT (PowerXL), and now use an air fryer with two compartments (NINJA). I use the air fryer to make toast, wraps, chicken, hard boiled eggs, appetizers and a bunch more! (HERE ARE SOME OF MY FAVORITE AIR FRYER RECIPES)
I always make sure that I have rice prepped in the fridge for the week! I do this by cooking large batches in my rice cooker and then storing it in airtight containers. It cooks rice perfectly with one push of a button and has helped me stay on track in the kitchen! This is the rice cooker I use!
GLASS BAKING DISH
I use glass baking dishes like this all the time! They are perfect for pizza bakes, enchiladas, and pasta! I like to portion each of our meals into them which makes it easier to track because we each get one dish to ourself! I got these from IKEA and use them multiple times a week for different meals!
I LOVE THESE BOWLS! They are usually $4 at Target and I use them pretty much daily! They are shallow but a big surface so it helps me spread my food and assemble it how I’d like! They are perfect for rice bowls because its so much easier to mix everything up in them!
I like to have ramekins this size because they are perfect for individual servings. I use them the most for baked oats because they fit and bake everything perfectly. I also use them in my air fryer for quick baked recipes and they fit perfectly! These are the ramekins I use! They are 14 oz.
This has become one of my kitchen essentials more recently but now Adam & I both use it pretty much daily! We both use it to make an individual protein shake and its the perfect size! It is rechargeable and battery operated so it doesn’t need to be plugged in. We both find it super convenient and easy to clean (and its not nearly as loud as a normal blender!) I prefer to bake breads in three mini loaves so having these pans has been so perfect! I can evenly divide the batter between the three and I find they bake so well! It easier for us to track having the smaller loaves and easy to freeze 1-2 loaves at a time if we need!
We found these takeout containers in the beginning of our journey and have been using them since! They are so easy to stack in the fridge and fit a good amount of food! I use these to store all our leftovers, veggie mix, grilled chicken, rice and any other foods I like to prep ahead of time!
